Design

The uncirculated aluminium bronze coin is housed in a beautifully designed card with a circular window revealing the coin’s reverse and obverse designs.

The coin’s reverse portrays coloured images of three Australia’s iconic animals, the koala, kangaroo and emu, each bearing a gift or birthday cake. The design also includes the inscription ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’, the year-date and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The obverse portrays the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, and the monetary denomination.
